networkNew from Network DVD in October.

19th October 2009
London’s Burning – Series 1-7 set (Available for the first time; the pilot movie and every episode of the first seven series of the award-winning and memorable drama.) London’s Burning was one of LWT’s most popular and enduring series. Featuring the firefighters of Blackwall Station’s Blue Watch, the dramatic and sometimes tragic situations encountered by the team were often based on real-life events, and always counterpointed by the more private stories of the firefighters.

Strangers
– The Complete Series (Starring Don Henderson (Bulman) as the idiosyncratic D.S. Bulman and later series have Det. Chief Supt. Lambie, played by future Taggart star Mark McManus.) An extraordinary success for ITV (five series over five years and a sequel), Strangers was a tough, quirky police series that was a breed apart from other cop shows of the time.

Spitting Image – Series 8 (This set features, amongst others, the talents of Chris Barrie, David Coker, Steve Coogan, Hugh Dennis, Chris Emmett, Steve Nallon, Enn Reitel and Kate Robbins).

Just William – Series 2 and Just William – The Complete Series Made between 1977 and 1978, this definitive production of the stories was a thundering success with children and parents alike. Just William featured a high calibre of guest stars, including Diana Dors, Geoffrey Bayldon, Freddie Jones, Julian Fellowes and Nigel Hawthorne. This complete set includes both classic series, originally screened in 1977 and 1978, along with the Christmas Special from 1977.

26th October 2009
Night of the Living Dead (Blu-ray) – film (classic horror film, directed by George A. Romero (Dawn of the Dead, The Monkey Shines)).
