Plot Synopsis

The Mountain Eagle, released in 1926 in England and also presented in the United States as Fear O' God. All that remains from this film are a half-dozen photographs. The nitrate print has long been the victim of decomposition. The Mountain Eagle concerns the manager of a store who fancies a young schoolteacher. She runs to the mountains, where she is rescued by a hermit, who finally marries her. Shot in the studio and on location in the Tyrol, the picture starred Nita Naldi, supposedly the new Theda Bara.
