Blood Orange – 1953 | 76 mins | Crime | B&W

Plot Synopsis

Blood Orange

Blood Orange starred Hollywood import Tom Conway playing himself as a detective solving a mystery against a background of London fashion. Murder and theft plague a London fashion house, model Chelsea (Delphi Lawrence) and a rich client, Lady Marchant (Margaret Halstan), both wearing copies of the new ‘blood orange’ dress are murdered. Former FBI agent Tom Conway, living in retirement in London, suspects a connection between their deaths and a spate of jewel robberies. A shady jeweller involved is murdered with a pair of dressmaking scissors. The killer turns out to be somebody close to Tom.
