Plot Synopsis

Cross My Heart

Insipid romantic drama. Sally inherits a boarding-house which she turns into a nightclub, but things go badly until her friends join together to introduce a jazz band. One of the band members, Steve, also sets up a gambling den in the club. The police raid the club and Sally ends up in court. Steve pays her fines, and Sally marries one of the band members.
