Plot Synopsis

Dick Barton at Bay (1950) was a Hammer production with Barton rescuing a British scientist, inventor of a death ray, from the clutches of a foreign agent who is holding him captive in the lighthouse at Beachy Head. The series would probably have been extended had not its star, Don Stannard, died in a car crash.
