Dr. Morelle: The Case of the Missing Heiress
Dr Morelle: The Case of the Missing Heiress – 1949 | 73 mins | Crime, Drama | B&W
Plot Synopsis

From the radio archives Hammer derived a film from Wilfred Burr’s series Dr Morelle. Called Dr Morelle – The Case of the Missing Heiress, the film was co-scripted by Ambrose Grayson and Desert Island Discs creator Roy Plomely. An unremarkable mystery thriller which has dated rather badly, it stars the velvet-voiced Valentine Dyall as the crime-solving doctor of the title. Dr Morelle investigates the mysterious death of a friend’s sister.
