Plot Synopsis

First Offence

Fast-moving crime thriller partly shot in France with good chase scenes. Remake of the French film Mauvaise graine (1934). A wealthy doctor’s rich and spoiled son, Johnnie (John Mills), joins a gang of car thieves in France after being denied a car by his father. Barely escaping one police chase, Johnnie and Jeanette (Lilli Palmer) resolve to quit but are corned in a police raid on the gang’s hideout. Fortunately, Johnnie’s devoted father helps him escape and the two resolve their differences.
