Plot Synopsis

Lancashire Luck

Predictable culture-clash comedy. A working-class father, George Lovejoy, wins a fortune on the football pools and ends up buying a tiny teashop in the high-class section of town. Both he and his daughter Betty enjoy the high life, especially after she falls in love with a handsome titled aristocrat.
