Les Bicyclettes de Belsize – 1968 | 28 mins | Short | Colour
Plot Synopsis

Sponsored by cycle manufacturer Raleigh, Les Bicyclettes de Belsize is a short story, told in song, of a man’s infatuation with the photo of a fashion model. Filmed in Hampstead Village, the kitsch Gallic-flavoured fantasy contains little dialogue and is instead segmented by song as Andrew May rides around North London reaming of Judy Huxtable, the model on a Raleigh bicycle poster he crashed in to.
