Plot Synopsis

Murder by Proxy

Grim and gritty thriller. A hard-up American drunk, Casey (Dane Clark), wakes up one morning to find himself accused of murder after accepting £500 to marry heiress Phyllis Brunner (Belinda Lee), then blacking out. Her father has been killed; shortly afterwards her fiancée, Lance (Andrew Osborn), joins him. Casey recovers his senses to discover that the ‘bride’s’ mother (Betty Ann Davies) is the killer.
