My Little Eye – 2002 | 95 mins | Horror, Thriller | Colour
Plot Synopsis

Marc Evans tightly crafted low-budget horror film about the Big Brother phenomenon and a similar-style ‘reality’ situation that spirals into a nightmare. Shot on location in Nova Scotia, the use of surveillance cameras manages to convey the paranoia and isolation felt by the participants and draws comparisons with The Blair Witch Project. Charlie, Danny, Emma, Matt and Rex are five young American strangers who agree to take part in a unique social experiment, living together for six months in a remote house, their every movement broadcast over the internet via CCTV cameras positioned in every room.
If all five make it to the end of the six months, they share $1 million, but if someone leaves, they all get nothing. Initial harmony and good will within the quintet soon degenerates into bitching and sexual tension. As the final week looms the participants become scared by sinister events unravelling within the house; but are the internet company Reality Webcast playing tricks with them to boost ratings or is there a murderous manipulator in heir midst?
