No My Darling Daughter
No My Darling Daughter – 1961 | 97 mins | Comedy | B&W
Plot Synopsis

Fast-moving lightweight romantic comedy starringJuliet Mills in her screen debut as the feisty tomboy daughter of a richindustrialist. Director Ralph Thomas keeps things moving along energetically butthe screwball plot with its stock situations isn’t terribly original. The castare left to portray ill-drawn stereotypes, and the likes of Michael Redgrave,Roger Livesey and Michael Craig really should have known better.
Tomboy teenager Tansy Carr (Juliet Mills) falls inlove with a young American boy, much to the disapproval of her wealthy industrialistfather Sir Matthew Carr (Michael Redgrave).
