Plot Synopsis

Room to Let (1950), from a BBC play by Margery Allingham, contained echoes of Hitchcock’s The Lodger in its story of a Victorian family who believe that their lodger, the sinister Dr. Fell (Valentine Dyall), may be Jack the Ripper.
