Plot Synopsis

Joan Meredith (Betty Balfour) receives a check every birthday from an unknown benefactor in this comedy drama. When she inherits a fortune, the opportunistic, unprincipled Mr. Jordan becomes especially attentive and schemes to marry her off to his own no-good son and steal her money. Joan must choose between Jordan’s worthless son and her former sweetheart – who makes good of his ambition to become a successful writer. Review© Dan Pavlides.
