Plot Synopsis

A fast-moving b-movie thriller ably directed by second-featureregular Lawrence Huntington with a good degree of mountingsuspense. There are livelyperformances from a solid cast including Patricia Roc, David Farrar, CliffordEvans, William Hartnell and Robert Beatty.
Following a $50,000 bank heist in New York,the US courts fails to convict two of the suspected robbers,Franklin (Robert Beatty) and Dolan (Eric Clavering), and the duo come toEngland as they believe the money has landed in the lapof crook-turned-reporter Jim Raynor (Clifford Evans). Raynor immediately attempts to have the hotmoney converted from dollars to sterling. Meanwhile, ScotlandYard discover Franklin and Dolan are arriving in England in pursuit of thestolen money, and rather than apprehend them, they tail them. InspectorThompson (David Farrar) decides to go undercover by moving into Jim’s digs; anapartment let by Raynor’s sister, Joan (Patricia Roc).
