Take Me to Paris – 1950 | 72 mins | Comedy, Crime | B&W
Plot Synopsis

Silly and dated comedy set in the horseracing world, and a vehicle for Northern variety comic Albert Modley.
At Mr. Armstrong’s racing stable, jockey and stable lad Albert (Albert Modley) is upset that his favourite racehorse, Thunderhead, may soon be retired and sent to stud. Meanwhile, the stable is preparing to send one of its best horses, Runaway, to France to run at Maisons Lafitte, but when the thoroughbred injures a fetlock, Armstrong opts to run Thunderhead instead. Unbeknown to all, two stable employees, Gerald and Linda Vane, use the cross-channel excursion to transport forged notes hidden in the horse’s blanket.
