Plot Synopsis

The Calendar

Original version of Edgar Wallace’s stage play thriller based amongst the British horse racing fraternity. Wealthy racehorse owner (Herbert Marshall) is banned from racing when he is double-crossed by the woman (Anne Gray) he loves. With the help of his ex burglar now butler (Gordon Harker), Garry succeeds in regaining a £100 note that will clear his name – and he falls for the bad girls sister (Edna Best).
