Plot Synopsis

The Frog

Routine thriller based on Edgar Wallace’s novel The Fellowship of the Frog. A criminal gang known as ‘The Fellowship of the Frog’ terrorises the populace with new robberies, fires and murders every week. Scotland Yard’s Richard Gordon (Jack Hawkins) takes over the case, assisted by cagey Sergeant Elk (Gordon Harker). Gordon falls in love with the daughter of one of the ringleaders, whilst his deputy Elk unmasks The Frog.
