The Frozen Dead
The Frozen Dead – 1966 | 95 mins | Sci-Fi, Horror | Colour
Plot Synopsis

Clinically ghoulish low-budget British shocker directed with a fatal lack of gusto by Herbert J Leder. The sheer outrageousness of the premise takes some beating but the film itself is boring. Imported American star Dana Andrews plays the latter-day Frankenstein and lends the film credibility it scarcely deserves. Anna Palk screams in the finest tradition of horror heroines and a young Edward Fox makes an early screen appearance as Andrews’ brother`Prisoner number three’.
Somewhere in the secluded English countryside outside London, Nazi scientist Dr. Norberg (Dana Andrews) is keeping 1,500 high-ranking Nazis cryogenically frozen. Attempts to revive the Nazis from suspended animation twenty years later result in failure.Meanwhile, Dr Norberg’s niece Jean (Anna Palk) arrives to stay, but she becomes suspicious of her Uncles secret laboratory when her friend mysteriously disappears. The living head of Jeans friend works mental telepathy to warn others of Dr Norberg’s nefarious scheme for jackbooted world domination.
