The Girl on a Motorcycle
The Girl on a Motorcycle – 1968 | 91 mins | Drama | Colour
Plot Synopsis

Cinematographer-director Jack Cardiff‘s quintessential tribute to the eroticism of the Swinging Sixties with Marianne Faithfull as the high-octane girl in black leather and little else. A pretentious but toweringly monotonous curio with a wafer-thin storyline. One-time Rolling Stones groupie Faithfull is required to do little more than sneer, pout and wrap her leather-encased limbs around said bike.
Adulterous Rebecca leaves her sleeping husband early one morning, riding her motorcycle at tremendous speed from Alsace to Heidelberg to spend a couple of hours in the arms of former lover, Daniel.
