The Human Factor
The Human Factor – 1975 | 95 mins | Thriller, Drama | Cclour
Plot Synopsis

Vengeful, political action thriller that was Edward Dmytryk’s penultimate film and his best piece of direction in many years. George Kennedy is particularly good and oozes heartbreak and menace, and he is ably supported by a host of multi-national acting talent including Sir John Mills and Rita Tushingham. Ennio Morricone provides the evocative soundtrack.
John Kinsdale (George Kennedy) is a computer specialist who works for NATO in Italy. When political terrorists kill his entire family John uses his technological prowess to track down the killers. Trying to prevent him from taking the law into his own hands are a local police inspector, the US military and his peers MacAllister (John Mills) and Janice (Rita Tushingham). The terrorists, who demand the release of political prisoners, threaten to kill a random American family in the Mediterranean every three days if their demands are not met. But nothing can prevent John from meting out his bloody brand of grief stricken revenge.
