Plot Synopsis

Low-budget second-feature scripted by Brian Clemensthat charts the hunt for a notorious Nazi war criminal. Cyril Shaps, who was a television and b-movieregular who specialised in playing foreigners, produces a respectableperformance as the anxious German. Despite the implausible flimsy plot, thefilm is worth seeing for its treatment of an interesting subject.
An ex-concentration camp commandant and wanted Nazi warcriminal, Karl Luther (Cyril Shaps), now lives in England under the guise of a respectedbusinessman. In France, a Nazi-hunting organisation despatch David Nelson (FrancisMatthews) on a mission as his chief pursuer. Luther’s flat is broken into andhe turns to ex-Nazi’s like film director Felix Lunde and exporter Hans Petersenfor help, but they turn him away. Instead, Luther attempts to escape by planeto Bermuda, but his passport has been spoiled by Nelson, so he seeks refuge inthe flat of Jewish nightclub singer, Jenny Walmer (Susan Denny), a one-time Auschwitzconcentration camp prisoner who is unaware of his real identity. Nelsonapproaches Jenny and exposes Luther for who he really is, and she agrees tohelp him in tracking down the fugitive Nazi.
