Plot Synopsis

The Saint's Return

American sleuth Simon Templar (Louis Hayward), alias “The Saint”, comes to England in response to a telegram from an old female friend asking for help. On his arrival in London, he discovers she has been killed in a suspicious ‘accident’, and decides to investigate the shady waterfront gambling crowd with which she mixed. He succeeds in unmasking an evil blackmailer behind a gang of gambling racketeers.
