Plot Synopsis

Third Time Lucky

Successful film version of Arnold Ridley’s comedy-thriller about introverted cleric Reverend Arthur Fear (Bobby Howes) who sets out overcome his timidity and defend his ward, Jennifer (Dorothy Boyd), from a former lover. Jennifer is newly engaged, and Fear must recover some letters that his ward had written to a suave rogue (Garry Marsh) who is now blackmailing her.
