Plot Synopsis

Superb Edgar Wallace thriller that begins when Dr. Marford (John H. Roberts) finds a man murdered in an East End side street. Scotland Yard inspector Mason (Norman McKinnel) is handed the case and discovers he’s hunting for a blackmailer called ‘White Face’ who assumes a disguise to evade the police. The doctor reveals he has a patient answering the criminal’s description, and with the help of reporter Michael Seeley (Hugh Williams), the inspector uncovers the true identity of ‘White Face’.
