This is a lovely dedication to Alexandra as Sharon Macready. Great track by Edwin Collins.

to Alexandra. Hope you're having an absolutely marvellous day.
Here is a reminder of why she is just so beautiful and good.

I hope those video clips last, wellend. Lovely tributes but several forum changes have given me a permanent fear of posting videos.
An early publicity still for her (minor) role as Joan Vendel in The Saint - The Crime of the Century (1965):
That Randall and Hopkirk post I did dates back eighteen months. I'd forgotten all about it. There are a few old captures from The Champions that I could use but a long-awaited second viewing is needed to remind me of the scenes they were taken from.
I've missed seeing the main stars. They've provided me with some of my happiest times in recent years. The reunion documentary on the DVD boxset was emotional stuff. It was a shock to see how much they had all changed and to find out Stuart Damon hadn't met up with Alexandra or William Gaunt since filming came to an end, 40 years earlier. This is as perfect example as you can get of http://www.britmovie.co.uk/forums/ac...ll-behind.html. Expect a couple of nice pictures of the trio at the thread soon, ideally with 'boss' Anthony Nicholls.

Alexandra and William Gaunt were together at the annual open day of AB's animal sanctuary at West Chiltington, West Sussex, which I managed to attend for the first time (I live just a few miles away but hadn't managed it before) Other thesps in attendance included Jenny Seagrove, Liza Goddard and Sue Jameson. They participated in the very charming Blessing of the Animals, reading various animal-related poems, keeping going valiantly despite fairly awful weather on June 5th. Sorry, didn't take any pictures.
To be honest I wouldn't have recognised William if I hadn't known who he was; he has altered quite a lot but still looks very fit. AB looks terrific, that amazing bone structure having stood her in good stead. She does heroic work for animals in West Sussex.
This is a nice little tribute to Alexandra.

Alex and William Gaunt will be re-uniting once again at this year's winter Memorabilia Show at the NEC, Birmingham on the 19th & 20th November...

You coming, WEC...?

I would have loved to have gone Al. It's a bit too close to Christmas and I'd have trouble getting that time off work as things stand. I am going to keep my eyes open and try to get to a function next year. I'll start now by cutting back on getting DVD's.Might see you next year Al with any luck. Cheers for mentioning the memorabilia event.
