    Aitch,

Can't judge as we don't really know how she looks like. Actually, we're a bit confused now as the lady who was said to be Fran Hunter in The Champions doesn't look at all like the nurse in R&H to us.

This is the secretary from Champions episode 'The Final Countdown' who once was identified as Fran Hunter

And here is a picture of Jim, Fran Hunter and Gerry Parish from the film 'Bullshot' (1983?), it is on Jim's photo album here:

    Best regards,

It doesn't look like the same woman. What a shame. Never mind. It's always going to look positive as long as this thread stays alive.

Just watched an episode of "The Saint" called "The Ex-King Of Diamonds". Brilliant episode for extras. Pauline appears in the casino scenes. She is behind Stuart Damon at first and then in the background after the interval with Isla Blair while Roger Moore and Ronald Radd are in the foreground.

The actress who plays the girl pupil seen in Ronald Radd's opening scene is uncredited. The Rogers & Gillis Guide to ITC lists her as French-born actress Stephanie Marrian.

I was watching Poirot yesterday afternoon with Mrs Aitch...''The Third Floor Flat'' and at the very end when the bad guy is being put into the police van and the police man takes him in another policeman closes the van door.

Mrs Aitch said to me...''I didn't know you worked on Poirot ?''

Well I thought it looked like me but can't remember doing it....It must have been shot after a big pub lunch......

Yes, quite a few well-known faces in that one, wellendcanons, including Mike Reid as Georges and Peter Brace as a yacht steward.

I spotted the ITC lady called Pauline in the following films:

The Vault of Horror (1973). Amicus horror film. She's in the art gallery segment of the film where she wears a yellow hat and has a line of dialogue.

A Night to Remember (1958). The film about the Titanic sinking. When Kenneth Moore is offered a drink he refuses as he's on duty.Pauline is sitting at the table next to him.

The Victors (1963). World War 2 film. When the actor George Hamilton goes to the dance hall/club Pauline's dancing in the background.

Carry On Spying (1964). Pauline's one of the passengers on the train.I think she can be seen in the train corridor.

Hell Drivers (1957). Pauline's one of the girls at the dance before it turns into a fist fight. She's sitting in a chair when one of the truck drivers grabs her for a dance.

On the Beat (1962).The Norman Wisdom film.Pauline is one of the hairdressers in the salon.

That's it for the time being. She must have had a long career as an extra at least 1957-1973 which is 16 years.

Pauline did very well in the biz and she did look good on camera....

I went into the biz in 1968 and in those days you had to belong to the F.A.A.

    Film Artists Ass....

I must have bumped into her a few times but I was the New Boy in those early days....

    Wonder where she is today.??

Thanks for the info Me Eagle and 'Aitch'. I've got "A Night To Remember", "Vault of Horror" and "Carry On Spying", so I'll be watching all of those in the near future.

I would love to know what Pauline is doing today.

I just watched the Frankie Howerd film Up Pompeii (1971) on Freeview and Pauline is in the opening few minutes. There's a good shot of her as she listens to the soothsayer's predictions. She also pops up in the orgy sequence.

Me Eagle, are you sure you're not mixing up your Cliffords? The VERY big girl in Up Pompeii is Veronica Clifford. I'm NOT saying Pauline Clifford was not in it as well but Veronica it is who many of us remember from that film!!

cully, the black haired ITC lady Pauline who appears in the Saint episodes is in the opening few minutes of the Up Pompeii film when Frankie Howerd is shopping in the market he stops to listen to Rita Webb's predictions of doom and Pauline is in the crowd on the right of the picture.

Me Eagle, now YOURE confusing ME! What joke? I wasn't joking, I was pointing out Veronica Clifford in case 2 actresses were being mixed up.For avoidance of doubt here is the bit of film from Up Pompeii where you can see Veronica at 6m 12 to 6m 18 and 8.00 to 8.10.

cully, this is the Pauline, we are talking about here.

Pauline in the market scene, standing on the right behind Frankie Howerd.

You can see her in part 1 of the uploads on YouTube at around 3:19. And thanks, cully, for pointing out, that Up Pompeii is on there!

    Best regards,

    Hummies
