    Just read the sad news that The Duchess of Duke Street actor is in St. Thomas Hospital London suffering from septicemia.

    Saw him as Prof Higgins in My Fair Lady a few years back at Birmingham Hippodrome. An excellent actor. Hope he makes a full recovery.

    The last time I saw him he was lurking in the bushes on the Embankment, that was on film of course, in Trance. He played a politician looking for a bit of rough trade, and he propositioned me, to which I replied, "In your dreams". It was a great scene, shame that it ended up on the cutting room floor. He seemed a very nice man, hope that he gets well soon.

    I spent weeks in hospital with that. In a coma for a while, but I'm still here :-)
