    Some roles are just meant for one particular actor only & that is certainly the case with George Roper. I can't imagine anyone else carrying it off like he did.



    They must have had some laughs doing that show. How Mildew kept a straight face with her one liners I'll never know.

    Brian and Yootha surely rate as the best comedy doubleact in TV history. Such a nice bloke too...full of great anecdotes and memories :)

    Nice to meet Brian recently when he appeared at the Cinema Museum in London. He also turned up to the fair a few months previously.
