Barbara Murray. Fabulous actress. Loved her in Up Pompeii and The Power Game. She also made several appearences in The Saint.

Many thanks to all those kind enough to enquire after me. I retired from acting in 2001 and now am living in Spain. Wishing you all and especially that dwindling number who still remember Passport To Pimlico and The Power Game, good health , happiness and continued enjoyment in the world of entertainment. Best wishes Barbara Murray.
What a wonderful surprise to see you here, Barbara! I've enjoyed many of your performances on DVD the last few years - programmes I missed originally as I was too young. In fact, I was born the year The Power Game started, which I'm not very pleased about. My earliest memory of you is the advert you did for Stork margarine!
It was many years before I saw you again and you've become one of my favourite actresses. Your joining us here is the one bright spot in an otherwise miserable month for British acting, with the deaths of some of your contemporaries (Sheila Allen, Sue Lloyd, Diane Cilento, and now Georgina Cookson), but I'm glad you're still here.
I enclose my favourite capture of you, as Lady Pamela Wilder in The Power Game episode One Via Zurich (1969):
This is during your first meeting with Michael Jayston, as Lincoln Dowling. If you click the link below you should see the corresponding image:

With Love and Best Wishes to you Barbara,

The Power Game was an excellent series. I mainly appreciate Barbara for her ITC appearences in The Saint, Department S and Jason King. Also a delight in Noel Coward's Present Laughter. Films include Passport To Pimlico, Tales From The Crypt and Up Pompeii. I'm looking forward to seeing her Dr Who adventure Black Orchid quite soon.
Glad to know you are well and enjoying retirement Barbara. Hope you'll continue to visit us from time to time. Thanks for the wonderful memories of a wonderful actress.
