The Others? well, apart from it being based on a hoary old premise which has been pretty much done to death...I tried to like it..you must believe me, I REALLY tried to get into the movie, suspend disbelief, and hoped it would chill me....right up to the moment when Eric Sykes walked into the frame....

Sorry lads, but from there on in there was simply no way that the film could really work, now, dont get me wrong, I love Eric, and I love spooky movies, but his substantial canon of past work means that I just have to look at him and I end up smiling....which is not a desired effect in a creepy movie...

As for Tom and Nicole?...well I loved the famous New York deli meeting they had ( to patch up their marriage)...when, after a few hours, she famously stormed away from the table shouting... " I'll have the check.....and he'll have the waiter in the corner...."

Nocole Kidman is lovely but a little on the thin side for my taste's. Although recent photo's of her over here seem to show a slight bulge in her stomach area and speculation is that she is pregnant and that the father is 40 year old film tycoon Steve Bing. The very same guy who put Liz Hurley in "the club".
Nicole apparantly has longed for a child of her own. Tom Cruise couldn't help because he was firing blank's not to mention that he bats for the other side!
Very strong rumours here say that while still married to Tom our Nicolle had a fling with Russell Crowe (they shared a holiday home together here at the time) and that she became pregnant to him. This is what caused the sudden break-up in Tom & Nicolle's marriage. Tom wasn't happy and so report's say Nocolle had an abortion.(You may remember she spent time in hospital after the break-up).
That is why there has been no serious reconcilliation attempt's between the two.
Only gossip I might add but word is that this is the true story.

Today's actresses seem to be all whores. You cannot pick up magazine without some article where likes of Scarlett Johannsen, Kirsten Dunst and Natalie Portman are discussing their sex lives. I think sexiness goes hand in hand with class, and not many actress have that these days.

Well for me it's gotta be Sharon Stone she is definitely sex on legs and talking about sex on legs everybody goes on about the leg crossing scene in Basic Instinct that Sharon was wearing no Knickers? Well i have to disagree there somewhat! I do know that she was wearing a pair of very sheer tights, and to see her legs in this scene you would not think so! Now sorry for sounding a tad Pervy! but i thought i'd check this out for myself! So i found the scene and slowed the film right down to it's slowest point, I noticed that as she uncrossed her legs you could see right the way up her skirt between her legs, But! if she was wearing Knickers they were concealed neatly behind the tights she was wearing as all i could make out was the seem in the crotch part of her tights. So was she wearing any Knickers? I dont know? but she was wearing tights!
The best scene in this film was when Cop Mr Douglas! asked the divine Sharon down town to answer some questions, as she was slipping into this dress the mirror showed Mr.Douglas and us the viewers a beautifull clip of her body and perfect bum!

Another Beauty for me was Jamie Lee Curtis Wow what a stunner! Remember the scene she played in Trading Places with eddie Murphy and Dan Akroyd, she played a Prostitute, it was the scene when she removed her top and showed off her beautifull pert and perfect Breasts, And Poor old Dan Lay there with a Cold, How the hell could you lie there with a cold when this beauty slips into bed beside you with a pair of Breasts like that! Sod The Beechams Powders!.

But coming back to Sharon Stone i just loved all the scenes she played in Casino with Robert DeNiro and Joe Pesci she was a diamond!

There aint too many actresses who come any where close to these two for me! and these are my top 2!.

My mother went to school with Hazel Court, I think it was in Four Oaks or Mere Green or somewhere near Sutton Coldfield anyway. I've yet to see any of her films!

Does anyone remember the buxom Sue Lloyd who appeared in films like THE IPCRESS FILE (1965) and television series such as The Avengers ?
Played a lot of secret service / spy type characters who managed to keep the secrets while revealing her assets.

Sue Lloyd also played Cordelia Winfield in The Baron,starring Steve Forrest. She later married Ronald Allen,who also played her on-scren husband,David Hunter,in Crossroads. He sadly died in 1991 (his sexuality,I believe,was controversial) and I think Sue now runs an art shop somewhere in London.

She was also Joan Collins' sidekick in The Stud or one of those types of films where actresses get their kit off frequently, but she was more fried eggs than melons if you catch my meaning!
