Has anyone suggested BARBARA MURRAY?
She was one who aged well.

I can think of her in 'Passport to Pimlico', then over 20 years later in the 'Up Pompeii' film she was still looking.

:)

Hmmm -

If you'rw going on the Yum factor, I have to post Jenny Agutter blush Mind you - her RAILWAY CHILDREN cohort was very nice in MAN ABOUT THE HOUSE ; Miss Sally Thomsett - which leads me on to the younge Paula Wilcox too... wink How many more can you string out ?

Anyone who's seen UNDER THE DOCTOR might appreciate Penny Spencer and Hilary Pritchard (it's that squeaky voice !).

Young Joan Sims was rather attractive too - PLEASE TURN OVER as the saucy maid ; again paired with another attractive actress, to wit Julia Lockwood.

And how about Peggy Cummins (ref Hell Drivers) who brings us back - via YOUR MONEY OR YOUR WIFE to femme fatale BARBARA STEELE...

I could play 'LINKS' here all day !

Barbara Murray:yes, having seen her lately in a film,I must admit she is another one underrated.
Jenny Agutterh yes thumbs_u
How about Carol Hawkins :) :) :) from Please Sir and numerous Carry Ons and wannabe Carry Ons in the seventies. She had been in The Bill a couple of times (as indeed anyone on the roll call of British acting) and I believe she was on an advert a couple of years ago. Presumably being herself, she was advertising some form of savings scheme,or whatever and she was walking down a street
talking to camera, meeting different families. One of which was a black man and his young daughter washing a car,and the daughter gave a little laugh.
Jenny Lee Wright was an object of my admirations asa teenager watching the Benny Hill Show.
Linda Hayden,of course, who shared an "intimate moment" with one of Gregory Peck's henchmen :sekret:in The Boys From Brazil, who then shared a knife with her neck
Has Julie Christie been mentioned?
The late Carol White was a stunner, but tragically lost her life to an excess of drugs and alcohol.
Ta Ta for now
Marky B wink

Ok - here's my two pence worth of non-politically correct rhetoric -

1. Janette Scott in School for Scoundrels and Beauty Jungle. Simply gorgeous;
2. Diane Cilento in Angel Who Pawned Her Harp and Rattle for a Simple Man. That husky voice!

Cheers!

So many happy mammaries!!

Saw a doco over here recently on Diane Cilento, who was born in Australia.
She was married to British playwright Anthony Shaffer who died unexpectedly in 2001.Upon his death a mysterious mistress claimed rights to Shaffer's inheritance.A long legal battle is still in progress with all assetts frozen.Diane admitted that she was currently "desperately poor".There is a possibility that if the mistress wins the case Diane could lose her North Queensland property.
Daine has aged a little & put on some extra weight but that sexy husky voice is still there.
Also saw Paula Wilcox recently in an episode of "Footballers Wives".Better that we remember her from "Man About the House."

Dave.

LMAO Ollie !!!

If Caroline was a man, then the surgery was VERY advanced - don't forget she was doing Lambs Navy Rum ads circa '72-'73 ! I think in one of the ON THE BUSES films she graces the outside of the Luxton bus shed on on of the posters.

Nah - my mate had a beautiful photo of Caroline when she had just turned 16 and had recently been 'discovered' ; she was lovely even then... blush

On a more mature note, one lady I always found toe-wigglingly sexy was Georgina Hale - I kid you not !

It was all about that pert, turned up nose, the asymmetric mouth and that lovely voice ! Ahhhh...

Back to the medicine cabinet - the drugs don't work.

I don't know about you lot... what about the delightfull Judy Cornwall, I think she oozes sexiness in Keeping up appearences. And in Santa Clause the movie... every boys girl next door.
She might be on my side of forty now but I think she is lovely.

Is that the same Dianne Cilento that was married to James Mason?
