Agreed I have always admired her performances If memory serves she was married to the late David Buck (Mosquito Squadron). MS was particularly good in that delightful film The Amazing Mr Blunden

Maddy subsequently went under the knife to lose some of her most vital statistics some time ago IIRC. Also IIRC didn't her hubby die relatively young and she had to raise the family ?

What was the name of the TWO RONNIES serial she starred in ? It escapes me at the moment...

Sorry chaps, but those kind of vitals can sometimes become cumbersome (not to mention downright painful !) to some ladies over the years, and I am in no doubt that Maddie made the right decison for herself...

It was a 'manor house' thing Marky, and she was the central character. As I recal she was a waif who was taken in by the Lord of the Manor (and various others along the saga) for less than charitable reasons...

But I seem to recall also that those intentions were always confounded !

The 'Bir d' in FUTTOCKS was Hilary Pritchard, whom I have covered earlier in this thread.

The Maddie thing is definitely a mini-serial within (very?) early TWO RONNIES. I am sure it's the name of the house - this is so annoying as it wasn't long ago repeated on UK Gold....

On Sunday,I watched a programme about the kids from Charley and The Chocolate Factory and what they were doing now. Julie Dawn Cole was interviewed and she is just as sexy as ever. She is in fact marrying a bloke who was born the day CATCF premiered in Britain - lucky devil. They also showed a clip of her naked,about to have a romp with Christopher Biggins in Poldark.

Having watched Spring And Port Wine again last night, one would be hard-pressed to find a more stunning combination than Susan George and Adrienne Posta in the one film - except Jenny Agutter and Judy Geeson in The Eagle Has Landed.

That took some care to avoid double entrendres - although one slipped through.
