One other sexy actress from the seventies who has been forgotten is Suzanne Danielle. After seeing her in 'Carry On Emmannuelle' (1978) I had always thought that Suzanne was European, but of course she's a Londoner.
She hasn't appeared in anything since the 1980's but as she's married to the famous golfer Sam Torrence I imagine she doesn't really have to earn a crust anymore. Seems a lot of the sexy actresses mentioned have later gone on to marry a wealthy husband. Seems par for the course. ![]() Dave. |

I believe the lovely lady is still with us today. She was born in 1919 - although it's difficult to imagine child star Nova ever getting old. Dave. |

No one's reported her dead, as far as I know!
It's weird. Hitch must not have liked working with her on Young and Innocent, because (according to Wikipedia, anyway) David O. Selznick was strongly in favor of her to lead Rebecca. Maybe Alfred was just so much keener on Joan Fontaine? Who knows what Nova's career would have been like, if it made that turn! I've always loved her performances. She was a very unique presence on screen. I don't know who runs the "Super Nova" Site. Obviously, though, I'm not the only one who thinks she was one of the best Hitchcock Blonds!

![]() ![]() The wonderful Helen Mirren who not only won the Best Actress Award at tonights Oscars but outdid a lot of her female competitors in the glamour stakes. She looked wonderful. Helen has now made a clean sweep of all the major Best Actress Awards for the year. She did Britain proud. Dave. |

I saw Mitzi Gaynor in There's No Business Like Show Business the other day and she was very attractive indeed.
