The funny thing is Winner, M. is remembered for many things by many people, but NO-ONE remembers him for his directing skills...(or lack of them)...and whilst his films sometimes touched on important topics his total lack of any directorial prowess whatsoever rather negated their impact.
He has worked with and along side some of the very best talent the world has ever seen...(indeed he will name-drop shamelessly until the cows come home)..but he never seems to have learned anything from any of them.... Just how he ever raised money for his films in the first place has always been a mystery to me.... Threep. p.s. can we get back to pictures of sexy actresses now please... |

Jenny Agutter (spelling correct?) is a beautiful English actress. Lovely face, beautiful skin, eyebrows right out of a Disney scrapbook, and a figure that reminds us why the Viking invasions were ultimately thwarted! Gosh...this type of naturally beautiful woman is in such short supply here in the states, all hail the English Goddess!!!!

I was flicking through my issue of "Forbidden Flesh" (a vegetarian magazine) or was it "Big Jugs" that i buy for the articles.....?
Anyway i read yet another survey conducted by/for women to name the "Sexiest Moments" in cinema. If you wanted proof that women are indeed from another planet then check out the top three. Rated first was the scene where Jennifer Lopez & George Clooney get acquainted in the boot of a car in the film OUT OF SIGHT (1988). Second - The fish tank scene between Leo DiCaprio & Claire Danes in ROMEO & JULIET (1996) Thirdly - GONE WITH THE WIND (1939) in the scene where Rhett (Clark Gable) sweeps Scarlet O'Hara (Vivien Leigh) off her feet and carries her up to the boudoir. Just behind these came GHOST (1990) rated for the 'sexy'scene at the pottery wheel. Seems most women view "Sexiest" as romantic. Now ask the guys the same question and the answers i'm sure will be completely porno. Sexiest scenes anyone.......? Dave. |

I didn't realise until recently that sexy Mary Millar who played the second Rose in 'Keeping Up Appearances'had passed away in 1998 after a battle with cancer.
Those short skirts and black stockings were her television trademark but in reality she was better known as a top West End theatre singer/performer. She appeared as Julie Andrew's understudy in the Broadway version of Camelot and also performed in the origional Phantom of the Opera. Shame we didn't see more of her on television. |
