Age shall not weary them.

I recently caught up with THE CALENDAR GIRLS (2003) and the excellent cast of actresses all still looked very good for their age.
Helen Mirren and Celia Imrie particularly still look stunning.

It reminded me of the time when what you DIDN'T see on film was very sexy.
Who can forget the days of black stockings, suspender's and the suggestion of a bare thigh?
There's a lot to be said for the older mature female.

Dave
Celia Imrie has got something highly erotic about her for sure, and a lovely pair of tits as well. But also on the mature side you could include Pam Ferris, Elisabeth Estensen, Nerys Hughes, Mel Martin, Faith Brown, Wanda Ventham, Honor Blackman, Susan Penhaligon, and the one whose name I don't know, but played the museum curator in the Morse episode The Daughters of Cain and was also Wycliffe's missus!

Sounds like it could be her. The other ones I'd forgotten about are Stella Gonnet, the posh blonde one from The House of Elliot, and also Francesca Annis who was Tuppence Beresford in Tommy and Tuppence Agatha Christie series, plus a host of other things, the film Dune as well I think she was in.

Jenny Agutter (spelling correct?) is a beautiful English actress. Lovely face, beautiful skin, eyebrows right out of a Disney scrapbook, and a figure that reminds us why the Viking invasions were ultimately thwarted! Gosh...this type of naturally beautiful woman is in such short supply here in the states, all hail the English Goddess!!!!
Another classic "posh" beauty who seems to enjoy getting her kit off on TV all the time is Jennifer Ehle, of Camomile Lawn fame. Although the epitome of a randy English rose she was born in the US I think!

You mentioned Stella Gonnet-vey nice I agree-but what about Louise Lombard?(House of Elliot TV series) I believe Louise is a homebody type-met her partner at an early age and had no real ambitions to go into feature films-last I heard of her she was doing a course at Cambridge University. A pity she didn't pursue the acting life as she is a good actress and a good looker, and seems a nice person.

Jenny Agutter was in a recent ep. of 'New Tricks'
She hasn't aged terribly well; looks like a right old moose now.

Having met her a couple of weeks ago, I can assure you she is still stunning.

Recently saw a very young MAGGIE O'NEILL in an old episode of 'A Touch Of Frost' and she was absolutely stunning.
I've always fancied Maggie and even today she still has that "Va Va Voom!"
that makes me go weak at the knee's.
A very sexy lady.

OK a stunned old moose then!
Talking of looking haggard, I saw a documentary about the blonde Abba bird last night, Agnetha, her first TV interview in 17 years and it was a bit of a shock! She's only 55 but looks about 65! I suppose being Swedish she would be regarded by mysteriesofedgarwallace's Scandinavian counterparts as a right old elk!

I seem to recall her always being fashionably tanned. That's what tanning does. Here in Glasgow, where kids start going to tanning parlours at ten, one meets teenagers with skin which could get them mistaken for forty.

Sue Lloyd also played Cordelia Winfield in The Baron, starring Steve Forrest. She later married Ronald Allen, who also played her on-scren husband,David Hunter,in Crossroads. He sadly died in 1991 (his sexuality,I believe, was controversial) and I think Sue now runs an art shop somewhere in London.

Sue was on "This Morning" recently in a Crossroads retrospective item. Time, alas, has not been kind. I understand she is the sister (or half-sister?) of Kay Kendall. Could someone confirm this?
