I just watched The Smallest Show on Earth for the first time: the sort of relaxed, good natured comedy that I don't think would be made today - and with a brilliant cast of character actors in feautured roles.

Virginia McKenna was certainly something to look at. That is, if you like that type of refined, quiet blonde. And I always have.

I'm with Cully, Patricia Haynes was stunning. Sadly, she didn't live long enough to be regarded as a sexy older actress by modern standards, dying in 1977 at the age of only 46.

On a lighter note, she gets impressively naked in Virgin Witch (1972)

However, I think I slightly preferred those other 2 great Italian beauties, Gina Lollabrigida and Virna Lisi. The Czech, Sylvia Koscina was fab too.
