Hmmmm...why do they call it surgically enhanced when it so rarely enhances anything?? I'd much rather actresses let time enhance them naturally...anyway, this is the L-A D I remember...

Thanks for the update - so she is there on television every day and on an American soap. That's what I get for working during the day and hating soaps!

Enhanced or not, she looks still looks very good.

I remember her in a film called "The Great Train Robbery". I am fairly certain it was a British film. Sean Connery was in it too. It was not a great success here, but I enjoyed it very much - and she was the primary reason.

It really was a well-made film, too...

YES, Lesleys big break must have been Upstairs Downstairs
and that series was big in the US so she became famous
over there too
The series was co writ by Jean Marsh, herself a top actress

Why indeed!
I didn't recognise Julie Christie in photos taken at the SAG Awards the other night. Can't figure quite what she's done, but she's done something! She looked half her age, but it wasn't "her"! I thought maybe it was just the young, girly, rather oldfashioned hairdo or wig she was wearing, but she looks too different. I've looked at her photo gallery in IMDb and I think she might have had a lower face and necklift; she looks untouched around the eyes.

She seemed to be ageing so naturally, yet remaining very attractive, so why would she want to change her looks!

She's admitted to having some 'minor' work done in the mid-90s.

Lesley Ann Down was gorgeus playing a Russian in The Pink Panther Strikes Again,lucky old Peter Sellers in that bathroom scene where he was forced to have his face placed in her breasts.
