Watching the Public Eye episode 'Nobody Kills Santa Claus' (1965) re-introduced me to the lovely June Barry.
She was a regular beauty on our television screens from the sixties onwards.

Watching episodes of Public Eye again I must say that there certainly were a bevy of beauties who appeared in the long running series.

They are all Yanks as Mr Crook said .... but one is an adopted Brit. All have been named ....

Gillian Anderson - Scully in X-Files (big picture), Alyson Hannigan - Willow in Buffy (bottom left), Sarah Michelle Gellar - Buffy herself (bottom right.)

Just seen her in a repeat of Midsommer Murders. She is also in an advert for a meals and wheels advert,where she is entertained by her gentleman friend with a microwave meal.

Today I have just seen the delightful Linda Thorson appearing on the Paul O'Grady show (Lauraine Kelly hosting) looking really good with a clip of the old Avengers shown. I still say she was the best looker of the three Steed ladies

You LUCKY Bat !!! (No, I didn't miss any letters out of that last word...)

Linda T was always my favourite Avenger girl - just so scrumptious; world's away from the somewhat frosty presona of Emma Peel.

Thanks to the plethora of autograph fairs, achieved my ambition of seeing her in the flesh some years ago...

an online readers poll run by FHM magazine.
She is very appealing...... but the sexiest????
