Watching Carry On Constable yesterday,and I noticed a young sexy woman playing a policewoman,who caught the eyes of Leslie Phillips. I never realised until later it was Shirley Eaton.

Must look out for that next time I watch C-On Constable...

Did anyone mention Amanda Barrie yet ? Obviously from C-On Cleo, but if you've read Babs Windsor's autobiog, there's a poster from a West Club where they were both appearing - WINSTON'S - and the two of them look very sultry and quite stunning in that picture...

I always watched Carry On Cruising,yesterday,and whilst staring at the young Liz Fraser,I couldn't help but notice how gorgeous Dilys Laye was. As for Esma Cannon.......she was the comedy queen.

The 'Carry On' films were a mecca for showcasing many well known and lesser known actresses in sexy roles.
I watched 'Carry On Behind' (1975) yesterday. Babs wasn't featured but there was the delicious Elke Sommer and sexy Adrienne Posta starring.
Also the lovely Carol Hawkins of "Please Sir" fame looking great in a bikini.
Then there was the lesser known Danish actress Helli Louise who was rumoured to have appeared in hardcore porn films before moving to the UK.
There was also the beautiful and sexy Diana Darvey famous for her stints as singer and performer on the "Benny Hill Show" for many years.
Researching Diana I was saddened to read that she had died in April 2000 at the very young age of 54.
Does anyone on the forum know what caused Diana's early death?
She certainly was a stunner!

I was surprised to find (reading Macfarlane's Encyclopedia of Brit. Cine.) that the lovely Hilary Pritchard had died so young - only in her early 50s

Yes,Carol Hawkins was one of the sexiest actresses ever to grace our tv and cinema screens. The last time I saw her was on The Bill,but I believed it was her who was advertising some form of insurance - walking down a street,talking to a camera,meeting people on the street.
Very sorry to hear about Diana Darvey - I remember her at the time being a very attractive woman,but to be honest I couldn't put a picture to her face now.
I remember the name of Hilary Pritchard,but again,couldn't put a face to her.

Hilary Pritchard was one of those buxom actresses of the 60s/70s who, AFAIK, actually managed to do all those sexy roles yet manage to keep her top on throughout her career.

She was the lady of the husky, breathy (and slightly 'squeaky' when excited) voice.

She was 'The Bird' in FUTTOCK'S END, and also appeared in SHE'LL FOLLOW YOU ANYWHERE and UNDER THE DOCTOR.

Having my nose (again) in the box set of THE BARON this afternoon has lead me to recall how cute JO ROWBOTTOM was when she was younger ; in that flame-haired Eve Matheson sort of way...

Anybody remember her, or know what happened to her ? I recall she was a semi-regular on JACKANORY ages ago.

That Sabrina was a looker, but those boobs did look a bit unnatural, they were a bit 'pointed' much like Madonna's, only not so long! I wonder what she's doing these days?

Having just watched New Tricks this evening I'd nominate Jane Asher. Even in her maturing years she is very attractive and has enormous sex appeal!

Marky wanted a reminder of what the late Diana Darvey actually looked like.
Found the following tribute to her and a great rundown of those other lovely girls that were once part of the famous (Benny) HILLS ANGELS.
I would still appreciate any other information regarding the cause of Diana's death in 2000.

Another actress who died too young was Mary Ure (1933-75),the former wife of John Osborne and the wife of Robert Shaw,who outlived her. An attractive women,who was cooly sexy (pardon the pun,considering the Alpine settings) in Where Eagles Dare.

Have to agree with the choice of Mary Ure, no idea she had died so young and in such tragic circumstances, rather like one of my favourite character actors Nigel Green.

I might have missed her name but I always thought Sylvia Syms was rather a stunner and particularly fetching in Ice Cold In Alex.
