As you probably know her real name was Diana Mary Fluck.
Wonder why it was changed to Diana Dors
Many said that she was Britain's answer to Marilyn Monroe, although Diana was rated the better actress.
Sad to look back and remember that Diana died from cancer when she was only 52 years old. If still alive she would have been 74 this year.
They dont make them like that anymore

I'm an avid viewer of "the languid detective" Wycliffe on ITV3 and I don't know if she's been mentioned before by me or anyone else (this topic's replies go on forever so I won't check, but like the telly you're bound to get repeats) but the gorgeous redhead Helen Masters who plays DI Lucy Lane (Phwoooer I wouldn't mind givin' her a sample of my DNA). Well known for her television and film appearances in the 60's-70's.
Often played the niave buxom beauty.
Best remembered for her role as Miss Caruso in Bond's 'Live and Let Die' (1973).

I think she'd be most people's overall favourite and she's got that beautiful voice like Joanna Lumley! My eyes glaze over just listening to her! Also she was "current" when I was at that school age when the local girls in early teenage years were spotty and obnoxious, and consequently actresses, pop stars and Hill's Angels were the only women worth drooling over! Logan's Run was a "must see" film back then because of her green outfit!

Having fallen under Jenny Agutter's spell in 1968 I may be a tad biased but I'd have to agree

I've never come across any male who has met her and not been bewitched by her personality and charm. She is one of the few people in the public eye about whom no-one seems to have a bad word.
