Having watched Vampire Circus the 70s Hammer horror the other day I'd nominate Lynne Frederick. But I made a mistake and the woman I thought was Lynne Frederick was in fact Domini Blythe, who played the character Anna at the start of the film (the one who romped around with the Count). A web site full of film photos also thinks it's Lynne Frederick, but she looked much older than 16 or 17, which is the age Lynne Frederick would have been when the film was being made!

I think Lynne Frederick was the young gypsy girl/vampire but I'm not sure as I didn't catch her character's name! Anyway, if anyone has a pic of Lynne Frederick, please post it to put my mind at rest!

Diana Dors,Shirley Ellis,Barbara Windsor,Sabrina,Joan Sims,Belinda Lee,Honor Blackman,Susan Shaw,Patsy Rowlands,Susan George(school uniform did it for me in i think "Spring & Port Wine"),Peggy Mount(for S&M fans) & John Inman (for those who bat for the other side!)

My favourite two films to drool over are:
Spring And Port Wine with Susan George and Adrienne Posta
but better still
The Eagle Has Landed with Jenny Agutter and Judy Geeson.

Maybe so Sam, but I think a lot of those scenes were sexier back then.Not because of what you saw,but because of what you didn't see.
The days of seeing actresses like the lovely, buxom Liz Fraser in suspenders and stockings or in a see through shortie nightie are gone but are long remembered.
We didn't see too much but it certainly used to get every red blooded male's mind racing.

Hi Ians,

It's very difficult to get any information regarding Virginia North. Her last film was 'The Abominable Dr. Phibes' in 1971. She played the very sexy Vulnavia.
I believe that she was origionally in line to play in the film's sequel but had to drop out from the cast as she was pregnant at the time of filming.
I can only assume that she gave up acting to concentrate on bringing up her family.
The picture is taken from 'On Her Majesty's Secret Service'.

Does anyone remember the gorgeous Susan Penhaligan?
She received a lot of publicity in the 70's as a sexy starlet and appeared topless in one or two of her film appearances.
I'd almost forgotten about her until I saw her in an episode of A Touch Of Frost a year or so ago.
She's a little beefier now but still a looker.
