According to a contributor on IMDB, when the film was made, Lynda Bellingham was married to producer Greg Smith.

I remember her appearencce (in both senses of the word) in Confessions of a Driving Instructor very well.

As I recall, Robin Asquith goes a little too far in their snogging scene and actually cops a feel (the poor man is only flesh and blood, after all), causing LB to ad lib the line 'Gosh, how rude', and brush his hand away.

Like a lot of older women, Lynda Bellingham just seems to become more attractive. Also can we hear it for the women with the fuller figure who are very sexy, I nominate Hattie Jacques & Liza Tarbuck
