It didn't get mentioned when she was on the Graham Norton show so think we can assume nothing too 'controversial' was seen - or Graham would have mentioned it.

You know he can't leave things like that alone :)

Sharon Stone was the best thing in Basic Instinct - I have never fallen asleep watching a film in the cinema sleep . It was a tedious,pointless film for which no merit should be forwarded.

Sadly, Sharon Stone's career has been in neutral since,but while she is stunningly gorgeous,I believe her diva demands will not bode well with future filmmakers.

I see the curse of the "young starlet's" has struck again with the recent suicide of Fritha Goodey aged only 32.
Remembered more for her stage & television appearances Fritha also starred as Hugh Grant's ex-wife in the film "About a Boy".
This very attractive & talented actress was another who was being tipped for great things yet must have suffered from the pressures of her profession.
Another 'star' fades & we are left wondering what might have been.......

Just to wander back a little....

Just saw a little (old) film FOOLS RUSH IN - starring Sally Ann Howes. In this she had auburn hair, not blonde, beautifully styled and a very flattering look.

Never appreciated this before (but who would, based on CHITTY CHITTY BANG BANG ?) but she looked absolutely GORGEOUS !! :)

I caught a couple of old films recently in which the mostly forgotten British actress Jean Gillie (1915-1949)appeared.
She was a looker although she did speak with a typical upper class accent common for films of her time.

She made two films in the US in 1947."Decoy" & "The Maycomber Affair" with Gregory Peck & Joan Bennett.
Her British films included "Sweet Devil"(1938) & "Tawny Pipit"(1944).
She died aged 33 from pneumonia.
Anyone else remember her?
