"Watching" was something of a rarity on ITV - it was a sitcom that was funny. I've seen Paul Bown's career in progress,Lisa Tarbuck showing off her versatality,the reliable John Bowler getting the recognition he deserves,but whatever happened to Emma Wray,a delightful actress who paly the impish scouser Brenda Wilson?

And don't forget Patsy Byrne as Malcolm's Mum. Yes, a very good series.

Emma did a few other things on TV, check the list on the IMDb. She was a major character in Stay Lucky (1989) with Dennis Waterman. Her last appearance on UK TV seems to have been as Donna in My Wonderful Life (1997).

They re-ran the series on Granada Plus for quite a while.
