Default Your Pantomime stars!

...To Sutton's Secombe Centre Theatre today to see their Panto - Dick Wittington - with my family, including my (nearly) 3 year old daughter. Who should be top-billing but 70-year-old (sorry to give your age away!) Fenalla Fielding of Carry On Screaming fame. Surely this country's top comedy vamps - even if FF's film appearences have been few and far between. She was a good fairy, and by the finale she had grown huge wings, whose size must be seen to be believed! Also appearing was the sultry ex-Dr Who girl /Brookie regular Mary Tamm, who made an excellent Queen Rat. The name of the naughty film she appeared in escapes me, although she was the Doctor's most glamourous side-kick give me Katy Manning any day. A splendid time was had by all...anyone visiting 'famous' film stars in panto this Christmas?? I wonder if you can beat MT & FF
