That's terrific work you have done on Victor, Dave, though it's sobering to read of details of his death. It is always a pleasure to spot dear old Victor in something.

Thank you sir, and thanks for your help in giving names to the unknowns, both her and on Wearysloth's site. I know see Martin Lyder in lots of things, too!

Well spotted, Dave. That's not a carnation on Victor's jacket but a puff of smoke emanating from the cigar on his right:

I'm a few weeks away from watching this properly. The only other actor I can identify here is Henri Vidon (standing).

As promised, Victor's characteristically brief appearance as a Waiter in The Saint - The Man Who Could Not Die (1965):

"I'm a friend of Mr. Nigel Perry [Robin Phillips]. He's expecting me." - "I'll tell hm you're here, sir."

I believe the person who posted about Susan Littler was another Dave; I did post some info about Alethea Charlton, another lovely actress who died too young.
That's right - Dave J.L. Where's he got to? Of course I remember your excellent post on the late, great Alethea - another one from Yorkshire!

I've been meaning to say this for a long time but Victor had a blink-or-miss role in William Tell. If memory serves, he hands a note to Willoughby Goddard. I should have captured this moment ages ago but didn't even make a note of the episode. Can you recall this scene, Gerald? I know you have the programme.

Sorry, cornershop, for some reason I don't seem to have noted down that Victor appearance in WILLIAM TELL either.

Now, this may just be me having a touch of Victor Harrington-itis, but could this be the man himself in the right background as Flora Robson looks round at the departing Jeannette Tregarthen in Holiday Camp (1947)?

If it is, it will be the earliest sighting of Victor so far.

I'm pleased to have found Victor in THE PRISONER:

He's the white-coated doctor in the front row in this screencap from "A Change of Mind". The other white-coat is Maxwell Craig, while to Victor's right is the credited Bartlett Mullins. For another Victor appearance in the episode, see the Sighted thread.
The scene earlier affords an unusual back-of-head shot of Victor - tapered hairline and all - courtesy of director Patrick McGoohan. Thanks, Pat!

Thanks to Gerald and dissolute for their additions to the thread. I recognised Maxwell Craig but not Bartlett Mullins, who I first took notice of in the Hammer Horror film Rasputin, the Mad Monk. I've since seen him in surviving episodes of The Likely Lads, where he had the recurring role of 'Cloughie', but am surprised this actor wasn't established in the memory long before, having just looked at his filmography.

Barry Morse has spotted Victor too! Watching cricket in The Adventurer episode Love Always, Magda (1972):

Lewis Alexander (bottom left) is either yawning out of boredom or it's a bad capture of him. I'll leave it for you to decide.

Who is the Extra in the middle of the front row, please (I'm sure I know him)? And also the man sitting next to the obscured lady with the hat. Despite the poor quality, you should recognise Gene Barry, The Adventurer himself, getting ready to ba at Lord's.

Nice screencap, cornershop. I don't think I recognise the chap sitting between Lewis and Victor, or the chap beside the lady in the yellow hat. But the gentleman behind that lady looks like it could be Guy Standeven.

More Victor to come shortly, hopefully later today if I can manage it . . .

Quite the dandy, here's Victor having a laugh in Beau Brummell (1954). Mr. Pitt, played by Paul Rogers, is not quite so amused:

Another Victor appearance in this film I'll put on the Sighted thread.

Well done, Gerald. If I can find the time, I'll locate my other screencaps from The Adventurer episode and see if there are any better shots of the Extras mentioned. There's certainly a close-up of the man sitting next to the Lady with the Yellow Hat!

Another of Victor's blink-or-miss appearances in The Saint. This is from Interlude in Venice (1966):

Paul Stassino entering the cas-ino but who is the actress next to Victor? She looks a bit like 'agony aunt' Deirdre Sanders!

Nice pic of Victor is a familiar pose, cornershop! I think it's from that episode that the footage is lifted into the title sequence for THE PERSUADERS!, meaning that technically, Victor appears in every episode of that series!

I don't know about the lady sitting beside Victor, but the gent behind him is Andy Alston.

I hope to post a "new" appearance of Victor in the "Sighted" thread later on.

It's The Night My Number Came Up (1955), but it's also the night Victor came up seconded to the U.S. Army to enjoy the dance display:

Air Marshal Michael Redgrave also manages to get a look-in.
