Default Separated at Birth?

I finally got round to watching LEAGUE OF GENTLEMEN last night, and was staggered to notice the facial similarity between British institution Nigel Patrick and Hollywood "funnyman" Bill Murray.

Are they related?

BTW, does anyone out there know which actress played Dickie Attenborough's girlfriend in LEAGUE OF GENTLEMEN? Totally gorgeous.

Cheers
Nigel

Hi Sanndevil,

I think the lady in question is Nanette Newman.
I agree the likeness is strong side faced but front on i think you can tell them apart.
Not related at all to my knowledge.

Dave.

No, Dave, it wasn't Nanette Newman. She played the wife of Terence Alexander's character. I don't know who played Attenborough's girlfriend, though.

Here's a strange one!......I can across this early picture of Roger Moore and I think he looks quite a bit like a young Tony Curtis.....and lo and behold they went on to star together in "The Persuaders" as one famous Aussie would say "spooky!" ghostly Regards, Decks.

Thanks Decks, i may have used the words "spooky" before ghostly but it's very kind of you to say that i'm famous.
I try my best blush

Oh and by the way, get those specs changed! hysteric Regards, Decks. wink

Speaking of separated at birth....

Here are two pictures...one of a plank, just going round and round doing the same old thing forever...

The other is of a piece of flooring...

Uncanny eh?

I think you'll find the gentleman below Mr. Grant is ACTUALLY Stuart Damon. The photograph was taken in his "THE CHAMPIONS" period, on-set IIRC :)

You're absolutely right...

As we now know, one of the last films to be made in this country was a re-make of "The Double- Deckers" Here is the full cast shot taken on the last day of filming...

Stuart Damon is there..alongside Mr Grant...think I can also see David McCallum, Robin Askwith, and Dennis Waterman (in his pre Little Britain days)anyone recognise any of the other faces? Some of them seem ever so familiar....

I think there was an early role there for a VERY young Jude Law....

IIRC he picked up the part of the stuffed Tiger ;-)

If she's in there, that must be Branagh and Thompson third row up - although 'Thompson' might just be one of the Richardsons....unclear as slightly turned away from the camera :)
