I have just seen the wonderful British movie The War Horse with Benedict Cumbebatch, and He was wonderful and the movie was wonderful as well. I hope he catches on here in America?

Yes, I think that the upcoming third series of Sherlock will probably be the last we see of Ben on these shores. I wish him lots of luck and hope that the US audiences take to him long-term.

The cast of the new Star Trek franchise have been all gushing about Mr Cumberbatch today, apparently he is had made them "bring their A game" and he has politely gushed back about working with Quinto. But, he may not abandon us for The States yet.....depends on if anyone offers him a good enough role.

Money has a lot to do with it, as well! We'll have to see - Sherlock has been very popular over there, and War Horse too. I hope he doesn't abandon the stage altogether but it wouldn't surprise me.

What actor wouldn't want to make it in Hollywood? I never believe Brit actors who say "Hollywood isn't for me, I couldn't abandon the UK" etc., it just means they either haven't made it there or haven't received any offers. But Mr Cumberbatch is having his moment and presumably wants to make the most of it - and if he's marrying a US heiress as well, what's to keep him here? Endless series of Sherlock?
