I've given up on the Paul O Grady Show - I still think he is a brilliant comedian, but the guests are getting recycled too much on this show. Barbara Windsor was on again the other week

TV in the UK needs a serious injection to cure the bad progs. I have managed to d/load many progs including game shows, which appear to be the meat and veg of prime time tv and yet are so much alike, especially at weekends. Even though, it's wonderful to be able to d/load some excellent tv progs over the last few months, The Curse of Steptoe, Hancock and Joan, Frankie Howerd, Hughie Green and so on, I wonder if they'll dare to do a Kenneth Williams and Syd James biographic prog? It would make excellent watching. Maybe the tv Gods should look back to see how things were made back in the 80's and 90's to see how decent progs were made and seek advice from those that made them. Many people, including myself, are turning away from the one eyed monster and using the net for entertainment. Shame on you that charge licence payers fees for a poor service, not that I pay as there is no licence fee here, get real and invent. Why doesn't someone complain to Watchdog to try and get their licence fee back for a terribly bad service? Oh I forgot! The beeb is Watchdog. No win solution here then? It could come back to haunt you and to bite you. _______________ Hooked off the line |

Is this the same Roger Moore who had a complete hissy fit on Dame Edna some years ago when she showed him modelling on the cover of a 1950s knitting pattern? Complete sense of humour failure on his part, I recall.
